MD Biosciences Pre-clinical services offers a variety of rapid screening assays using immortalized cell lines. These standardized assays are designed for early screening prior to more customized primary cell assays or in vivo efficacy studies.
Cells are stimulated with agent listed for 24 hours in the presence or absence of test item. Cell culture supernatants are collected and assayed for the inflammatory mediators listed. Dexamethasone is used as a control. Test items are run in duplicate in an 8-fold dilution series.
