The kidney ischemia reperfusion model (also called renal ischemia, nephric ischemia) is used to assess deficiency of blood in the kidney. The renal artery is occluded using a nontraumatic microaneurism clamp. Following occlusion period, the clamp is removed to allow reperfusion.
