Mouse Macrophage in vitro compound screening assay

The mouse macrophage model is a good preliminary screening assay to evaluate a compounds effects on inflammatory cytokine production. Stimulants, readouts and reference compound can be customized to suit a sponsors requirements.

LPS-stimulated mouse macrophage in vitro screening assay

Figure: LPS-stimulated mouse macrophage model. RAW 264.7 cells were stimulated with LPS for 24 hours in the presence or absence of dexamethasone. After stimulation, cell culture supernatants were collected and assayed for inflammatory mediator production by multiplex or ELISA. Mean values are shows. Error bars represent standard deviations.
